Here\'s this week\'s Weekly Recipe:
Frosted Banana Bars from Judy Buzek.
Ingredients
* ½ cup butter, softened
* 2 cups flour
* 1 ½ cups sugar
* 1 tsp. baking soda
* 2 eggs
* ¼ tsp. salt
* 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
* 2 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
* 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
4. Stir in bananas.
5. Spread into a greased 10” x 15” baking sheet.
6. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes. Cool and frost.
Frosting for Banana Bars
* 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
* 1 tsp. vanilla
* 4 tblsp. butter, softened
* 1 ¾ cups powdered sugar
1. Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla.
2. Add powdered sugar and mix well (may add a little milk for desired consistency).
