Weekly Recipe: Popcorn Cake

  • 3 quarts popped popcorn 
  • (about 2 bags microwave popcorn, butter flavor)
  • 1 lb. M&M’s
  • 1 cup dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 stick real butter
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. mini marshmallows

Spray a Bundt pan (or 9 x 13 pan) with non-stick cooking spray. Pop the popcorn, and make sure you pick out the old maidsJ.  Put in a large bowl. Melt marshmallows, butter and vegetable oil in saucepan over medium heat.  Pour over the popcorn.  Stir gently, folding in the M&M’s and peanuts.  With a buttered rubber scraper, press into Bundt pan or 9x13 pan.  Cool and serve.
